HOW TO SIZE YOUR RING
Rings sit below the knuckle, so choosing a ring size based on how easy it is to slip over your knuckle could cause a loose fit. A loose ring potentially increases the likelihood of your custom ring falling off and getting lost —and we don’t want that! To avoid this common sizing mistake, we recommend using the “Bend and Twist” method to get an accurate size for your ring:
Place the sizer over your knuckle
Bend your knuckle slightly
Twist the ring off
SOME DO’S & DON’TS
Look for a bit of resistance when taking off the ring. This is an accurate indicator of the right ring size.
Wear the sizer for 10-15 minutes to get a better idea of how comfortable the size choice is.
Take the ring off without twisting. The ring will catch and not give an accurate size.
OTHER FIT TIPS
Consider season and temperature. Finger sizes can fluctuate, particularly in the summer when heat and humidity can cause swelling. Cold, dry temps in the winter, meanwhile, can cause shrinking. Fingers slightly cold or swollen? Bring them up to room temperature before trying on the sizer.
Check the width of the band. Wider bands take up more space on the finger, which can give you the illusion of a tighter fitting band, even though the ring size is the same.
Take note of your diet. Alcohol and salt can temporarily impact the size of your fingers. You may notice a difference in the way the sizers fit after eating a salty meal.
